Your holiday is booked. Your sexy outfits are ready. Your sex toys have somehow taken up half the space in your suitcase. Then you remember your little brown bottle and ask yourself: can it travel with you?
The answer depends on how you are getting to your destination. By car, train, or boat, you usually stay close to your luggage. But flying is different. Poppers contain volatile, highly flammable alkyl nitrites, so they should never go into the cabin or checked baggage. A small bottle is still a flammable liquid, and a closed aircraft at around 30,000 feet is not the place to take chances.
That does not mean going without your favorite formula. It means letting your poppers travel ahead.

By Car: Keep Them Cool and Within Reach
Keep the bottle properly closed, upright, and inside a protective or leak-resistant container, like our Poppers Keeper available in both Large , or Small. Store it in a place you can reach when you stop, rather than underneath several suitcases.
Keep poppers away from direct sunlight, heaters, cigarettes, and other sources of heat or flame. Do not leave them inside a parked car while you have lunch, visit the beach, or explore a city. Take the bag with you.
Remember, accessible does not mean open during the journey. The bottle should remain closed while moving, and the driver should never use poppers before or while driving.
By Train or Boat: Keep Control of Your Bag
Keep your poppers in the personal bag that stays with you rather than in a compartment, deck, or luggage area you cannot access. Avoid radiators and strong sunlight on trains. On a ferry or boat, keep the bottle away from engines and exposed decks. It should remain closed, upright, and protected from possible spillage.
Each provider may have their own rules for flammable liquids, especially on international trains, ferries, and cruises. Check before departure. When the product is not permitted, or your luggage will be somewhere hot and inaccessible, order a fresh bottle to the destination instead.
Flying With Poppers: Leave Them at Home
This part is simple: never put poppers in hand luggage or checked baggage. The familiar 100ml cabin-liquid rule does not make poppers acceptable. That limit applies to ordinary liquids passengers are permitted to carry. It does not override dangerous-goods restrictions for highly flammable substances.
That means no bottle in your toiletry bag, no bottle hidden between cosmetics, and no liquid transferred into another container. Removing the label or changing the packaging does not change what is inside. It only creates more risk of leakage, confusion, or confiscation.
Leave your bottle(s) at home and arrange for (a) fresh one(s) to be waiting at your destination.
Let your Poppers Travel Ahead
Shipping ahead avoids airport problems and lets you keep using the formula you know. Ask us whether we can legally deliver to your destination using an appropriate shipping service. Do not repackage your own bottle and place it in the mail.
Hotel
Many hotels accept parcels for registered guests, but ask first. Confirm how the package should be addressed, when it may arrive, and how long reception will hold it. Use the same name as your reservation and add your arrival date or booking number when requested.
Airbnb or Misterb&b
A private host may also accept a delivery, but always get permission. The host may not live at the property, and there may be no safe place for a courier to leave the parcel. Ask for the exact address, which name to use, and whether delivery before check-in is possible. A short message about a discreet personal order is enough.
Ask a Friend
Staying with a friend or meeting someone local? Their address may be the simplest option. Ask first, share the tracking information, and make sure they know when the parcel is expected. You could add an extra bottle as a thank-you. Depending on the friendship, it may be more appreciated than flowers.
DHL Packstation in Germany
Traveling in Germany? A DHL Packstation can be a practical alternative to delivery to a hotel or private address. Eligible DHL parcels can be sent directly to a collection locker and picked up after you arrive.
To use a Packstation, you normally need a DHL customer account, your personal Postnummer, the number of your chosen Packstation, and the Post & DHL App.
We deliver to DHL Packstations throughout Germany. Shipping costs €5.90, and delivery is free for orders of €50 or more.
Order, travel, collect, and start the holiday.
Do Not Forget the Lube
Lube is easier to travel with than poppers, but cabin-baggage liquid limits still apply. For flights from EU airports, each container must normally hold no more than 100 ml and fit inside the transparent resealable liquids bag.
For a short trip, take a travel-size lube of 100 ml or less. For a longer holiday, add your favorite full-size lube to the order going to your hotel, host, friend, or Packstation.
This saves space in your cabin liquids bag and means you do not have to rely on an unfamiliar product after arrival.
A practical combination is one small cabin-approved bottle for immediate use and one full-size bottle waiting at the destination.
Travel Smart and Ready
- Driving? Keep poppers closed, protected, accessible, and out of the heat.
- Taking a train or boat? Keep control of your bag and check the operator’s rules.
- Flying? Leave poppers at home and have a fresh order delivered ahead.
A little planning prevents confiscated bottles, overheated products, missed deliveries, and a last-minute search for an unfamiliar replacement.
Let your suitcase carry the outfits and toys. Let the parcel carry the poppers and full-size lube. Then everything you need can be waiting after check-in, exactly where it belongs.
